Vincent Courcelle-Labrousse organized an exceptional photography exhibition on the Foreign Legion
From October 23 to 26, 2025, at Place de la Concorde, as part of the Moderne Art Fair, the exceptional exhibition “La Légion dans la peau” (The Legion on the Skin) showcased the photographs of Victor Ferreira, who for years has been capturing the tattoos of his brothers in arms. Vincent Courcelle-Labrousse was the driving force behind this collaboration between Victor Ferreira—a former chief warrant officer in the Foreign Legion who became a photographer— and Blaise Parinaud, Chairman of the Moderne Art Fair. The opening on October 23 brought together numerous high-ranking officers from the Legion. The works on display were sold to benefit Solidarité Légionnaire, to support the expansion of the infirmary at the Institut des Invalides de la Légion Étrangère. The proceeds from the sales were presented to the organization by Vincent Courcelle-Labrousse during a ceremony at the Institute, located on the slopes of Montagne Saint-Victoire in Puyloubier (Bouches-du-Rhône).
